Organic Tool Eye Hoe Head

Tempered High Carbon Steel head Made in India. Just under 7" wide x 6 1/2" tall. Hand Forged 2# Hoe head. "Eye Hoe or Grape Hoe" This solid tool is far more rugged than a standard hoe. With the blade parallel to the ground, a chopping+pulling motion removes sod and slices off weeds & roots beneath the soil. With the blade more at a 45 degree angle, and used in a chopping motion, this tool will cut through tough roots (like grape roots, thus its historic name), and even sheets of thick ice on winter walkways. The grape or Eye hoe is ideal for working already loose soil into mounded rows for planting strawberries, potatoes, beets, etc. It is far easier to pull the dirt into an ongoing heaped row, than to use a shovel.
